Tell me a better way to end a Tuesday night than attending an Exclusive Hennessy Cognac Pairing…I’ll wait.
On Tuesday, we at African Elite PR were pleased to host one of the amazing events, we have had in awhile. An Exclusive Hennessy Cognac Pairing with the Global Brand Ambassador, Mr. Ben Smith on his second visit to Kenya. Cognac lovers came ready for a fine dining experience and to learn on the rich heritage, finesse and sophistication of Maison Hennessy at the Soi Restaurant, Dusit D2 Nairobi.
The event started off with Hennessy cocktails and conversations before the dinner as we waited for the guests to arrive because…African Timing you know?
This dinner was just not any other dinner. The setup looked amazing with all the 24 guests catered for with everything they would need for the dinner. The menu offered a range of rich and mouthwatering creations, coupled by an endless supply of your favourite cognac.
The 3 course meal was served; curated by a talented chef, as guests toasted with the vibrant Hennessy cognac to an amazing night.

Throughout the evening, Ben Smith took us through the rich history and ‘savoir-faire’ of Hennessy, a truly global adventure dipped in the history of French origin that started in 1765. Each meal from the 3 course meal was accompanied by a different expression of Hennessy cognac.

By the time we were leaving the event, our hearts were full and so were our tummies. For this dinner we engaged with Hennessy Very Special, V.S.O.P & X.O. Ben Smith, Hennessy Global Brand Ambassador gave us a few tips and tricks on how to distinguish each cognac through the senses of smell and taste.
Safe to say we went home with some added knowledge on the most desirable cognac in the world; Hennessy.
