My Night Routine with Clinique

I have probably talked about my night routine with Clinique over and over! Partly because its one of those things that I take seriously and mostly because a happy skin is close to a happy soul. But even after talking about my night routine for so long, I still get people asking me about it. Today I have decided to put it up on the blog, so that next time someone asks I can just give them a link!
Just so you know, this is my current night routine as at July 2019 (Which has also been for the last year) and so far it has worked pretty well for my 30 something self

The Process

I start with the Clinique rinse-off foaming cleanser mousse; this is a foamy cleanser which is best for removing long-wearing makeup and sunscreens. One of the reasons I use this cleanser is that, just a little bit of it and most of your make up is pretty much off. I’m not a big fan of the packaging but that might just be me. I mean look at what have done to the bottle

After the mousse, I use – Clinique take the day off make up remover for lids, lashes and lips to ensure that there is no any make up left on the eyes and lips. Please note, you can either start with the “Take the day off” make up remover or the rinse off cleanser depending if you have lots of eye make up on. If you have lots of it, you start with the Take the day off, if its light you start with the rinse-off.

This is followed by the clarifying lotion which removes dead cells  and flakes, revealing a clearer complexion. I use cotton balls gently over the face avoiding the eye area
Clinique Clarifying Lotion
After the clarifying lotion, I follow up with the Estee Lauder Advanced Night Repair   (Which in the Kenyan lingo I would say – this product is the truth)

…and finally Night Repair Eye Concentrate Matrix. This works to repair, fortify and hydrate the eye area. If you use it for awhile you will notice that the fine lines and wrinkles under the eyes are reduced

Few points to remember:
  1. No matter how tired you are, never sleep with make up on
  2. Great skin starts with cleanliness – make sure your face towel is clean
  3. Know your skin type before buying any face products

You can get a free skin type consultation at any of the Clinique Stores in Kenya- I would recommend the stand alone Clinique store at Garden store or any at any of the Lintons
…and yes I know the products are not cheap, it’s a good thing that Lintons is having a clearance sale on 27th June 2019. You may call them directly on 0712 077248 to reserve. You may tell them that you heard it from me
But before then pass by the store and get to know your skin type! You skin will thank you later
Thanks for passing by! x
