As a parent, one of the the things you worry about is bullying! You worry whether your son or daughter is alright at school and whether if they came across a bully they would let you know. Recent happenings in Kenya where a lady committed suicide after being cyber bullied made me feel that we need to address this issue now more than ever.  It looks like the bullies from school have grown up with the same habits, they are online hiding behind the screens! We therefore need to raise our kids to be buddies not bullies #BeABuddyNotABully

Cartoon Network has teamed up with ChildLine in Kenya together with Paralympian star and #CNBuddyNetwork ambassador South Africa’s very own Ntando Mahlanguto with the aim of raising awareness around bullying, empowering children of Africa to take positive action against discrimination and bullying, on and offline. ChildLine is a NPO working to assist children exposed to all forms of violence and create a culture of children’s rights in Africa.
