Last Saturday was the official Moët Party Day, an international celebration of all life’s memorable moments. In Kenya we were part of the countries which celebrated this day earlier as we launched the Moët Nectar Imperial in a high profile affair which I was pleased to host
The rousing success of the first Moët Party Day in June 2016 held in 45 countries inspired the Maison Moet & Chandon to confirm it as an annual rendezvous. Last Saturday, over 80 countries joined the celebration of life’s memorable moments, from 12:00:00 in New Zealand to the end of the night in Mexico and beyond.
In Kenya, this event took place on Thursday at the Sankara Hotel Rooftop. The star-studded affair dubbed ‘Nectar Night’ had key personalities in media, lifestyle and corporate. The recently crowned Queens and Kings of Moët Nectar namely Pinky Ghelani, Olive Gachara, Ali Oumarou and Dr.Chris Kirubi also graced the occassion
Guests were treated to a lovely music mix courtesy of DJ Joe Mfalme as Amina Abdi took them through the luxurious journey of the night
Speaking at the event, Alexandre Helaine the Marketing Manager of Moët Hennessy Eastern Africa noted that, “Friendship, sharing and generosity are part of Moet’s values and spirit. Moët & Chandon is about connecting people around the world, forging strong relationships. As we celebrate the introduction of Moët Nectar in Kenya, we wanted to celebrate our Kings and Queens of Moët Nectar as the new “Friends of Moët” as well as encouraging all life enthusiasts to seize each moment and celebrate achievements as they happen. Life is full of big occasions, but it’s the little ones that make us feel good every day of the year. Today on the Moët Party Day we celebrate them all, we make them all become a #MoetMoment”.Thank you for joining us as we celebrate this day in Kenya’.
