As you all know, Safaricom Jazz Festival is going down this weekend, with a whole bunch of activities for the whole family to enjoy on that day and I am giving away two tickets so stay tuned! Incase you missed my last post, Safaricom and Ghetto Classics have teamed up to bring the best jazz experience this side of the Sahara. This is a charity event that aims to make a difference in the lives of many kids in various slums across the country. Ghetto Classic uses music education to provide the youth with opportunities to improve themselves and their societies, providing them with skills in live music performance as a means of breaking the cycle of poverty that many of them are born into. It also provides them with income generating opportunities and has been supported by proceeds from the Safaricom International Jazz Festival for the past four years.
Jazz music brings the best in all of us,and we need to embrace it in every way especially when it comes to fusing it with fashion. Im here to get you guys ready for the main event in terms of what to wear and feel great about being there…hopefully the weather will be favourable. So for the ladies who want to look young and easy you can go for crop tops, off-shoulder tops, maxi dresses, sandals, shorts or khaki trousers topped up with light or chunky jewellery. For the classics like myself, a jumpsuit is always an option! For the men,you can wear shorts, polo shirts, loafers, caps/fedora hats, blazers, jeans or linen trousers. There you have it folks…lets meet at the Safaricom Jazz Festival this coming Sunday 26th February at the Kasarani Safaricom Stadium from 10am onwards and enjoy the smooth jazz tunes from local and international acts.
As promised, I have 2 tickets to give away! All you have to do is tell me who are some of artists performing at the Festival, what you plan on wearing and why I should give you a ticket. Your response should start with #SafaricomJazzWithLuciaMusau
