Allow me to take you back with a recap of the Chris Brown show! As you probably know by now, I was in Mombasa courtesy of Hennessy who were the VVIP sponsors for the Chris Brown live concert. I was delighted to be part of the biggest concert to ever happen in East Africa and honestly it was surreal! Whereas the main event was on 8th, we arrived on the 6th and La Marina (the hotel where we were staying) was already star studded and being part of the Hennessy team means that we bring the party or shall I say we are the party. Whereas, we all know that Hennessy has always being associated with rappers, with so many international artists mentioning the brand in their songs I really didn’t know that this boils down to the ground. I can confidently say every artist at the Mombasa rocks festival who was having a drink, it was Hennessy. Next time, I’m in such a concert with not so much to do I will definitely do a quiet v-log just to show you the interactions. Besides Chris Brown some of the artists who were present included; WizKid from Nigeria, Ali Kiba from Tanzania, Navio from Uganda, Vanessa Mdee from Tanzania, Bebe Cool from Uganda, Nazizi from Kenya, our very own Sauti Sol and many more. If you follow me on Instagram, you probably saw my interactions with most of these artists on my Instagram stories and for those on my Facebook I was able to do some live streams during the concert.
Meanwhile here are some photos from the event..
