Look The Part

Lucia Musau
Happy New Week!

I believe have said it before and I will say it once again, “dress for the job you want not the one you have” As cliche as it may sound, your dressing makes a statement about who you are and where you want to go. As a matter of fact, one of the questions I ask myself while dressing each morning is “who do I want to be today?” There are days I want to be bold, polite, friendly and I find myself pairing pieces which project the same. Overall, if you go through my photos even without words you will find yourself drawing a perception of me and that’s the power of dressing!

Looking the part is essential for any individual who wants to elevate themselves to greater heights. Whether you want yo be a successful lawyer, singer, fashion blogger or even a marketing consultant like myself! Start dressing the part, look the part. Dressing for success is an integral part of attaining it! Today, I opted for a window pane patterned cigarette trousers, black lightweight turtleneck shirt, champagne pink coloured bag and black strap heels!

Reminds me of my favorite song, This by Darius Rucker. “Maybe it didn’t turn out like I planned,
Maybe that’s why I’m such, such a lucky man………All the doors that I had to close, All the things I knew but I didn’t know, Thank God for all I missed ‘Cause it led me here to this
