Happy New Year!

The beauty of New Years’ is the fresh beginnings, new chances to do it better and whereas most people complain about January; I always choose to look at the brighter side. I look at all the great opportunities ahead and what a great blessing it is be part of it all. I don’t just have resolutions, I set goals with timelines and come up with laid down strategies on how to achieve them. Together with my close friends we take time to brain storm on our laid down agendas and most importantly we commit them all to God. What I am trying to tell is, “You were born to win, but to be a winner, you must plan to win, prepare to win, and expect to win” I bet that explains why you haven’t seen on the blog recently, since I came back from my long holiday in Europe I have quite busy putting some things in order and of course planning ahead! This year I have a big mission and I can only ask for God’s blessings!

Now to start off this year, on the fashion side; I would like to share some sights and sounds from Brussels in Belgium! You have probably seen this lace dress a good number of times and it remains one of my favorite pieces to-date. I guess there are always those little things which remain dear to us for one reason or the other. I paired it with a ‘thrifted’ trench coat I got from Toi market. Can you take a rough guess how much I got this coat for? Now scroll all the way to the bottom, I never like to talk about prices but for this specific one I will tell you the price. I will write it, right at the end of this post so be on the look out!

A big thank you to Simon for the photos (Honestly for an Engineer he did very well don’t you think? PS For my young, single, educated, beautiful readers..he is single! Shhhh…if he knows I put this up I will be so dead Ha ha ha)

Thanks to Olav for that induction trip to Toi Market where I scored quite some great finds and lastly a massive thanks to Willis who yesterday wrote to me and said “Lucia you need to write something on your blog” I truly appreciate it, we all need friends who can kick our a**** because sometimes we really need it

Finally a big thanks to you, for choosing to join me in 2016! Here’s to more success to all of us!
