Just a little bit of Lux

Happy New Month!

This month I would like to begin with some TLC (Tender Loving Care), in this city’s hustle and bustle it’s pretty much easy to forget about yourself. Between work, family, friends and maybe school sometimes you can easily forget to give yourself some much needed TLC. After I moved to the capital I used to get very easily overwhelmed, I missed my usual beach escapes back in the Coast, a barefoot walk on the sand or just a simple chilled out drink by the sea with a soft breeze to clear off the mind. So I started my search for that dose of tranquility; I tried drives out of the city, spas but still I wasn’t getting what I was looking for. So then I decided it was time to change my strategy and look for ways within my reach, ways in which I could just slow down and smell the roses so I ended up with meditation and long baths followed by a great read of something. So when I received a package from Lux with some candles and soaps I decided to incorporate them in my TLC routine. I used the candles during my meditation and I loved the fragrance so then I decided to try out the soaps. From the Lux variants; wake me up, soft touch, velvet touch, shake me up and soft caress I knew I had to choose different variant for different occasions. So for my calming bath I tried the soft touch and it was like a first love because after trying all the rest its still my favorite that followed by soft caress. I loved the subtle fragrance and the feel after the bath, so thank you Lux you are officially in my TLC program

Soo much focus on making money at the expense of our peace n sanity..Its important to have ME time..I go the beach, sit on the sand n listen to the waves..I block the world out for those fewminutes n am refreshed.
