MALE Magazine Review

Kenyan Fashionado

A week ago I was pleased to be invited for the launch of the MALE Magazine at Village Market. In as much as I could have posted about the magazine immediately after the launch, I thought I will first do a small experiment. So I took the magazine and placed it on my hubby’s desk. Knowing that he doesn’t stand clutter and doesn’t give a second glance to anything that doesn’t attract his attention, there were only 2 choices; either find the magazine back on my desk (where he assumes that it was misplaced) or find it beside his laptop meaning reading in progress. So without a word I left the magazine! Next day, I found it beside the laptop and I thought, alright it survived the night lets see what next. Over dinner I finally got the response I was waiting for, “Thank you for the magazine you left on my desk, interesting…if you don’t mind I’ll take it with me and finish reading it on the flight” I smiled and thought to myself  “mission accomplished..now let’s see if he manages to come back with it after the trip” I’m pleased to tell you..the magazine made it back and I even got to read it!

In brief, MALE  targets the generation of intelligent, well-rounded Kenyan men of all ages, with the aim of becoming a common denominator of masculine interests—Money, Adventure, Lifestyle and Entertainment. This magazine covers a wide variety of  interesting topics and offers the reader an in-depth view whilst respecting his/her intellectual capacity without bias combined with cutting edge articles that ensure a balanced view to stimulate the mind and offer a wider perspective

Here are some bits and pieces of what caught my attention…
